Hello everyone. I'm considering applying to Carleton for an economics major, but was wondering whether the job placement after graduation is good there, as it seems to be a bit far from US business hubs. Do companies actively recruit from there? Are job prospects good for econ majors at Carleton? Thank you all in advance.

Carleton is a jewel in the Twin Cities’ backyard- major connections to the Minneapolis/St Paul business hub. And anyway Carleton has an amazing national reputation with employers, graduate, and professional schools so don’t let the location deter you from such an exceptional school!

There has been a major discussion on the topic before here…

If companies are only recruiting from the Minnesota. Carleton is the best school to recruit from, but most of the companies are recruiting from all over the country and most of them have not heard about Carleton.
