“Don’t know much about the admission process but thanks for the reply, and good luck!”

Did you mean to post this on this thread? Does not make sense…

I think you have a shot at all those schools ( I posted on your vassar one).

Thanks - appreciate the feedback.

Anyone who would like to chime in I am all ears :)!

bump,bump,bump

Trying again…please

I think your assessment seems pretty reasonable with a caveat - for top-rank schools what appears to be a match by the numbers is probably a reach just because so many excellent students apply. Also, for the small LACs the admissions staff is looking at the whole picture, so recs, short answers, essays, etc all play in. OTOH, because they take the time to look at the whole picture, the upward trend of grades will be noted and is a good thing even before coupling with the explanation.
Now comes the tough part for you - where do you WANT to be. Big vs small; urban vs rural; religious, conservative, not…you have a wide variety so make sure to consider where you’ll thrive. If you find a type of school that’s a good fit, that interest will come through in your app/interviews.
Best of luck

Bingle - thanks for your comments. Very helpful!
