So, I'm attending the Summer Writing Program at Carleton this year, and I absolutely can't wait for it :D.
Anyway, I just wanted to know if any other CCers were planning on going as well, so we could get to know each other beforehand!</p>

<p>I can’t wait to go to the Summer Writing Program, either! I spent most of this schoolyear learning everything I could about Carleton, so am thrilled to be going there in 9 days. I googled the Carleton SWP and this was the only thing posted by a student that I could find for this year. Weird, right? I though people would have gone crazy with the facebook groups, or something.</p>
<p>So a bit about me: My name is Leah, I’m from Baltimore MD, I do crew (even though really deep water kind of scares me) and I have a casual love for typography and Romanian pop music.</p>
<p>Oh, wow, I saw that there was a new post for Summer Programs, but didn’t see that someone had actually written in THIS thread. I had given up hope, haha.</p>
<p>Yeah! It’s so weird how no one else is talking about it. Weren’t something like 80 kids accepted? You’d think there’d be more activity.</p>
<p>Crew, that must be pretty demanding. Also, Romanian pop music sounds fun. I’ve admittedly never even heard Romanian spoken, so it’d be fun to hear some! I do, however, listen to French/Spanish/Korean music ^^</p>
