Carleton vs. NYU Gallatin vs. Bowdoin

I was accepted to these three lovely schools, but will most likely be unable to visit all of them.

I have no idea what I want to do beyond a general inclination to English/History/Political Science/ Film. I’m pretty laid back and don’t want to go to place where the students are uber competitive and are completely narrow minded and only focus on grades.

They are all equally expensive, and I’ll be in major debt by the time I’m finished. Which is why I’m also considering Berkeley which is significantly less expensive.

I’m probably not going to go to grad school, and I live on the West Coast, where about 2% of the population have heard of Carleton and Bowdoin.

Any help?

carleton and bowdoin are very different, with bowdoin having a lot more new england prep culture. you should look at some of the other threads in which the carleton/bowdoin difference is discussed
