Carnegie Mellon 2011 RD Decisions

i applied to one school and still didn't get anything

I second moonlight

where do you live? i live in boston

ballplayer..... if you don't mind my asking, were you accepted? and have you already gotten your decision in the mail?

moonlight: i live near boston

I doubt there's anything to worry about. I think they do send decisions in "batches." My guidance counselor used to be a reader in the CMU Admissions Office a few years back so I'll try to get the scoop for everyone tomorrow.

hmm maybe they don't like bostonians... =)

Apparently, still nothing.... is it safe to assume I won't get anything tonight?

mathwiz,

I was accepted, but I haven't gotten my decision in the mail yet (NJ).

And are these batches separated by a few days, or is a different batch sent every day?

arrrrr..... batches....

im still doing my hw so im gonna check it periodically, sleep, and then hope its up when i wake up

haha mathwiz didn't you get into CalTech and Olin? I wouldn't worry too much if I were you.

it'd be funny if they tracked how many times all of us signed on to that site...

I did... but still......

After you access the Carnegie Mellon Admission and Financial Aid Information...how do you know if you got in or not?
Does it say anything beside "Deicions?"

you don't. haha. till three days after they mail them out. (and apparently it hasn't been 3 days or they're deciding not to put them up yet...)

Next to each school where it used to be Decision: _________, it's filled in with either Accept, Waitlist, or Not Admitted.

Under admissions documents it says 3/22 -- Admission Decision mailed.

oh great. they havent even mailed my decision yet.

how long ago did it say 3/22-- Admission Decision mailed... just tonite or a while back

OK, so this has only happened to people who's decisions were mailed 3/22...

this.panicLevel--; // although panicLevel>STILLWAYTOO_HIGH;

Everyone who got accepted got their decisions today....
So if you didn't is that a bad sign? sigh...
