What kind of questions?
@hs2015mom I don’t see that. When I enter my info I get a red box that says:
“Our records indicate that you are not on the waiting list. If you have questions, please contact the Office of Admission at 412-268-2082.”
I only applied to one school. You mean it said she was wait listed at her second and third choice schools?
@Enthouse yes. But there’s no mention of her first, anywhere. First choice is MCS, second SCS. I can’t imagine she’d be rejected for MCS but waitlisted for SCS.
I think it might mean that since she was accepted to her first choice, they didn’t even consider her app for her second and third choices. Hence the wait list.
I mean nothing’s confirmed yet so best not to get hopes up so soon only to be disappointed later. But I think that could be the case.
That’s what I’m thinking, too, thanks. But best just wait for the mail; I haven’t mentioned any of this to my daughter.
I am not going to check the waitlist today. Don’t want it to ruin my sleep. Good luck to me and all of you.
So, I got waitlisted at my third choice college at CMU, but I honestly have no idea what that means for my first and second choices. Any ideas?

Dang, i’m on the waitlist for my second and third choice, no chance of getting into first choice XD. Does anyone know how many people make it off the waitlist each year?
I’m just going to hope that’s the case. Waitlist isn’t too bad though, I guess. I mean, it’s better than a flat out rejection and there is a tiny chance that I could get off it.
If I’m from Asia, when do guys think the mail will arrive? Is it too early to arrive at this point?
Do they consider third choice cause it is not showing on my where am i in the process page? and I have been waitlisted for my first 2 choices and no mention of my third choice does that mean I have been accepted for my third choice? Also my first 2 choices are significantly harder to get into. @Enthouse please help?
if im not on the waitlist at all does that mean im rejected because if i was accepted for my first wouldn’t i be on waitlist for second or no ? sorry stressed

Hahaha I’m not an expert or anything I just like guessing this stuff.
Well yeah I think that would be the case because it doesn’t make sense for them to wait list you for your first 2 choices and reject you for your third. Once again I’m just guessing. Was your second choice ECE by any chance? Because some people get into CIT but don’t get offered ECE as an option because it’s so competitive.
After we get our online decisions because the email we got stated that we would be allowed to opt for priority mail AFTER our decisions are released.
@Enthouse so no chance we’ll receive before then? because i think some people last year did receive before the online decision came up
