I don’t know what to think about those entries. Iike previously stated, those are usually for people who have been given a loan (meaning you have been accepted(or maybe waitlisted?)). But I feel like CMU wouldn’t slip like that and give a hint towards a decision. Hmmm…
@orangemaple yep! I applied for IS and second is Tepper! I’m really hoping I get into IS, but looking at the amount of people they usually accept per year (around 50), I don’t think I’ll get in…
@612skies Don’t worry! According to the stats here they accept about 100 each year out of 1000 applicants. Good luck to both of us

Breaking News!!
Decisions come in on Saturday, March 28
Good luck everybody! I hope to see some of you next year if I get accepted :-3
@Axelarate
We already knew that…
And the (hopefully fat) envelopes come before then.
do you still get an envelope if you are rejected?
@yoyoyo1234 Yes, but a normal one, nothing fancy.
If I don’t have those additional documents in my financial aid section, does that mean I’m for sure rejected? I’m from the U.S. and I applied for fin. aid.
@gtm1260 there’s no way of really knowing until decisions come out.
After researching, I believe it is a sign of acceptance because it states that
" Admitted students who choose to enroll and receive Federal Direct Student Loans are required to complete a Master Promissory Note (MPN) and an Entrance Loan Counseling Session at www.studentloans.gov. The HUB will notify students regarding the signing of their Perkins MPN"
Hi. Just jumped on this thread. Good luck to everyone!
Question - if my financial aid section says that I’m missing both my tax return and W2 as well as my parents, does that mean I’m screwed? The FAFSA and CSS were both submitted.
@scout07 did you submit idoc?
Omg. What’s that? Now I’m freaking out
Was that what was through college board?
@scout07 That’s how you upload those documents!
I submitted my FAFSA but it doesn’t show up on my portal. Oh well.
did u get the master promissory note? Now i’m like 99.9% positive its a hint for acceptance
@iuaena- no. It says nothing. It shows my fin aid as not complete because those documents are missing - tax return and W2. And couldn’t you be accepted without financial aid? My parents income doesn’t qualify for any really anyway.
@scout07 I see i see… I think you can still upload those documents https://idoc.collegeboard.org
@iuaena Would it be too late? Decisions are done. If there’s nothing there for me, does that mean I’ve been rejected?
