Carnegie Mellon or U of Michigan?

I can't decide whether to go to Carnegie Mellon or University of Michigan..

I am majoring in architecture, and I know that both schools are ranked high in architecture.
Carnegie Mellon has a 5-year bachelor's degree program and Michigan has 4.
However...Michigan's ranked higher in architecture than Carnegie Mellon is.
There are a lot of other factors involved in me trying to make a decision..

But any suggestions???
Please and thank you.

Michigan’s program is a pre-professional 4 yr BS in Architectural Studies. You would need to go to grad school (the 4+2) and get a MArch degree. Most states require a professional degree to be licensed (BArch or MArch). Michigan’s ranking is for grad school. CM ranking is for undergrad. CM’s 5-yr BArch. The choice is 5-yr vs 6-yr (4+2).

My son is a freshman at USC. He only wanted a 5-yr BArch and didn’t want a 4+2.
