^Yeah, my thinking style is more american (not british) though I am an indian .( mum always teases me for that)… Even I am not putting my hopes to the job market there for the CS grads… the only doubt that remains in my mind is that, is the CMUQ thing WORTH the 80 lacs loan that I would have to take, specially in the scenario if I have to return to India, where it would take a seemingly an eternity to get over with the loan…

The other good option( other ANU, if i get thru that, nothing like it) is to continue here t my college… slog my ass off and try get an MS at a decent place (probably not the top ones) in US… what do you guys think about this option?

Which one of these two options should i pick?

I know it is tough for internationals in the U.S. in terms of finding a job, but what about England? I would think CMU Q degree in CS would be valued there, I am just speculating though.

preciouspurple, you sign a legal agreement, either you stay there for x number of years and work (which is somewhat related to the article you have posted), or you leave to anywhere you want and pay your 15% of monthly salary. Doing neither would be braking the law.

and yeah if you might be lucky, they might just send you court notices… otherwise they will send the interpol behind you and then u will have to run like a fugitive if that what u like :P

stop crying for help. People will help you if they can, or want to. dont push for it, it ll only make you look like an idiot.

secondly, if you believe the overhyped situation in Australia abt the racism thing, u are an idiot. contact friends in australia if u have any and find out if its true…i know it isnt.

also, its stupid to believe that even if such racial events occur, they will in an institution of ANU’s calibre. ANU is in canberra which is the capital of australia. chances of anything like that happening there are minimal.

I asked my previous question because the Singapore government gives out similar tuition grants and in exchange you have to work in Singapore for a couple of years. But it is said that the reality on the ground is that many foreign students fly back to their countries without completing the bond. I’m just wondering if it is possible to pull the same trick in Qatar? Does Interpol really go after people for such crimes?
