Carnegie Mellon, Rice, or UCLA

Just hoping for some feedback. Been accepted to CMU, Rice, and UCLA for mechanical engineering. The price is the same for all. My intended focus is aerospace and I understand that mechanical engr degree is sufficient for employment in the space industry without aerospace. Has anyone been in a similar position in choosing universities? Would appreciate any feedback. I liked all three universities but am having a hard time deciding which one to attend. Thank you

All good schools. Rice may make it easier to do projects and internship at NASA due to their proximity and connections. If you like smaller size and more collaborative environment then you may want to consider a visit to finalize.

Thank you! I did visit Rice and I had these same positive feelings. UCLA is close to home so I will save money, but I think I will feel like a number there among such a large campus. CMU is awesome too, but no emphasis on aerospace.

If you loved Rice and it’s affordable — it’s a fantastic option. Especially for your dream.

I just read these, every NASA news seems to have some Rice connection.
