I’m in Game Academy.
“Tickets for sale”
Are those tickets for drama and music students?
ugh my enrollment letter and forms still haven’t arrived and the postmark date is in two days… I emailed them asking if they would accept push back the deadline for me but I don’t think they even check their email. Has anyone actually gotten an email back from them before?
yayy @0br0123 you got the refund!!! what kinds of forms did they mail you? like do you need to get an immunization form or anything that requires a lot of effort/time to get?
@jasli98 yes but they said you can delay the immunization form as long as you send it back by June 5th. The rest is real easy
@0br0123 I finally got the packet today. Where does it say that you can turn in the form by June 5? It’s the only page in the entire booklet that says you can detach the sheet.
OK so I still haven’t received anything but I know I can’t attend the program. First does that mean I was rejected? If not, what should I do to find out? I feel like calling is a bad idea because then I would have to tell them I’m not coming if I do get accepted
I never received anything at all either! I assume this means I was rejected as well?
@fprosk, @lexlooks4college You can try looking in the Andrew Student Directory online to see if they put your name in: https://directory.andrew.cmu.edu/ If you are in the program, when you search your name, it should come up along with an ID and Pre-College.
Great thanks! Looks like I got rejected
To any who were accepted into the program for diversity, did any of you receive an invoice?
I just received an email with the packets
In the email it said “Additionally, if you have received an invoice for the total cost of the program, please disregard”. Because it’s free so I guess they messed that up.
Yeah, I just got an email for the invoice. I was just writing an email to Precollege asking what I should do, then I read jgs107’s post. Thanks! I guess we don’t need to do anything about it then.
Wait @jgs107 what packet was this?
They emailed me and sent me a packet with all the information about the program (code of conduct, schedule, policies etc.) and another link had about 40 pages of permission forms
Did anyone get any notification from Carnegie Mellon about the program? Idk if they even received my forms or not because I sent them in on the day it was due… did anyone maybe get like an official acceptance letter, or more details about your classes or whatever?
Does this pre-school diversity program accept return students? Or is it possible/common to get in the same program twice?
I don’t know if it’s common but it is definitely possible. I’ve heard of students that attend precollege their junior and senior years.
Has anyone heard anything for the 2016 program?
Yea same. I haven’t heard back either
