someone get back to me, CMU is a dream

How do you think they will handle a 3.80 for SCS. It’s a competitive high school where ten percent of seniors go to top 20 colleges. I get that it is very competitive, but my only B’s have been in history and French and it sucks. I’ve gotten A’s on all my science and math courses, some years doubling up on science and math. I have 800 Math SAT1 730 CR and 800 Math SAT2, 750 Chemistry

runner girl, they will forgive lower stats because you are a white female with good gpa, but you need like a 700 math sat score at least. Also, they highly recommend SAT 2 tests. Rest looks good.

What’s the status of everyone’s fin aid documents on the Where Am I in the Process page? My FAFSA, CSS, and the other documents were all submitted well before the November 1 deadline, but my FAFSA was marked as “received” on the 21st, and my CSS was marked as received yesterday. The other documents haven’t been marked as received at all.

Update: All of my other financial aid documents are now there.

Do we know when the decisions will be out? They have been released earlier than the 15th for the past couple of years.

In past years, decisions have consistently been released on the Sunday before the 15th at 12 am EST. Hopefully that holds true for this year.

^^That would be tomorrow, right? I really want to know so bad, everyone got stanford decisions yesterday and the wait is agonizing. Has anyone spoken to any AO’s or heard anything in general? I’m guessing they would send an email a couple days prior to decisions but there’s nothing yet which makes me think it’s not the sunday before the 15th this year.

Also, when I try to check my Where Am I portal, it takes me straight to the HUB website for students after I select the identity provider I chose when I first signed up. Why isn’t it taking me to my portal? Is it because I signed up/clicked the link to sign up off a different computer? Does anyone else have this problem?

^^ never mind the portal is working now!

What are my chance?

Male, Asian (Korean)
State AZ
Class Rank: N/A
GPA: 36 in IB (3.83 ish UW)
SAT: ERW 750 Math 800 (Superscore) Essay 8 6 8
Subject: Math II and Physics 800
Small Private School

Major: Statistics at Dietrich

Extracurricular, essay, and recommendation letters are pretty solid, but I don’t have any awards/honors

does anyone know when the ED results will be posted? i know the trend is sometime tonight, but they havent sent an email yet and im getting kinda anxious

People called CMU, and were told it’s coming out on 15th.

@REEEEEEE Do you know when they called?

In past years (to my understanding), they would just post the results on the admissions portal right on the dot at midnight without an email or anything.

I am pretty sure it will come out at midnight 12:00 am. DAMNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN

I have heard from multiple people that results will come out on Dec. 15, not today.

So…when is the result coming out ;-; I’m so anxious

I don’t actually think a college has ever released decisions at midnight. They’ve always been during the day. I heard that CMU sends out an email on the week of, and last year the twitter released an update, but I haven’t heard anything yet this year. Have you guys heard anything?
