on the cornell website page with the ap credit, does it mean that if you get a 5 on calc bc for example, that you get 8 credits for graduation, but not 8 for that 100 needed for arts and sciences?--the way the its was said seemed to me that it would count for 8 of the 120 needed to graduate, but not the 100 need for A&S...is that true?

Your AP credit will first be applied towards the 20 credits you need outside of A&S. I don't know what happens if you have more than 20 AP credits.

What Norcalguy said doesn't seem exactly right.

You don't NEED any credits from outside of Arts and Sciences. The requirement says that you must have 100 credits from within Arts and Sciences. If you want to take all of your 120 credits in Arts and Sciences, you are perfectly free to do so.

That's even better for me then since I've taken 0 credits outside of A&S through 2 1/2 years of college. But I have noticed that all of my AP credits are taken from the 20 credits that you COULD take out of A&S. I guess the point is that you must take 100 credits in A&S no matter what.
