CAS - dual major with music

what do you exactly learn in a music major? I'm not good at music theory (i.e. i havnt really learnt much, but am working on it), but I was just browsing through the undergrad music program. Sounds interesting. The site says that prerequisites are music 152 and 154. what are they? When can u choose to do a double major? is it available for music and engineering? Will that be too hard?
Finally should I just minor in music or do it as a hobby separately? (minor... hehe)

MetallicManiac, i thought u wanted to do Engineering Physics

151/153 is first semester and 152/154 are 2nd semester. They're theory musicianship courses. Counterpoint and voice leading in 1 and 2, and skills like ear training and sight reading in 3 and 4.

Anybody can do a double major if they're in the arts college or any college. You just need all the courses/requirements for the degree. You'd have to do a "dual degree" since you're between colleges, I think.

Do whatever you want. If you love music, the music major won't be hard, because you'll love doing whatever work they throw at you, regardless of the type.

Arjun - I'm surely doing engineering physics, just wondering about a dual degree with music.
Thanks sparty.
