Which school is harder to get in?
Just out of curiosity.

Both are hard to get into - although this year's data hasn't been published, I estimate that Wharton's acceptance rate was 9-11% and CAS was 14-16%.

Thats based on data from last year (which you can get online), Wharton's yield rates which are north of 70% and Penn's overall yield which CAS dominates given that it's 2/3 of the student body.

SEAS is easier to get into in theory but SEAS has higher SAT and GPA averages. SEAS is much more self selected pool.

saewhan i remember you asked this question already.... anyway the easiest school to get into is which ever caters to your personal interests. basically it could be either. statistically, the reason SEAS has such a high rate is because its yield lower. honestly, if u are an awesome creative writer and you are terrible at math, engineering will be "harder" to get into (even tho its accept rate is higher).

bottom line: just apply to the one that best suits your interests and strengths.

how high is SEAS acceptance rate?
