Case Western Class of 2018 EA Results

I hear the Bolton school of nursing is excellent. I have a lot of respect for the students in the nursing program, they work incredibly hard. I swear, I see them coming back from their clinicals when I’m headed off to my 8:30AM class!

Anyways, so Safe Ride operates between 7PM and 3AM. Basically, you call a phone number (or if you have a smartphone you can download an application) and tell them where you are and where you need to get to. Then you wait inside wherever you are, and a driver in a car, clearly marked as a safe ride vehicle, will come and pick you up and take you to your destination. Basically it can take you anywhere on campus (the main quad, Mather quad, the library, the northside dorms, the southside dorms), plus anywhere in Little Italy, and probably other locations that I don’t know of.
I use safe ride all the time. It’s an excellent resource, and it was especially nice last year when we got some of the effects of Hurricane Sandy and it was raining and windy all the time.

A liitle late, but I thought stats are usefull for those who will come later.

Dad4Engineering- had you visited/interviewed/had contact showing interest in Case? If you are truly still interested send an update with new grades, awards, accomplishments, etc. and a statement of continued interest. With the increase in applicants each year I really believe Case puts great stock in admitting those students that might actually attend -versus those applying as a safety or only because of the no fee, no supplement application. My D was admitted after being deferred and is now a very happy freshman!

@Sdgal2 - Yes, we visited and interviewed. Although we now live in MA, my S was born in Cleveland and was really conteplating his move back. Case was his first choice. Until deferral, that is. Right now it is low on his priority list. Both Pitt and Rutgers Engineering programs have roughly the same ratings as Case, but the cost is much lower, even for OOS student. Did your D get any merit scholarship money from Case after being deferred?

Nope…we are full pay…we live in CA now but my D was also born in Cleveland- it must have a strong pull! She is experiencing her first real winter as she was three when we moved. This has been a real shocker to her but hasn’t dampened her love for Case.
