I called and they reported for the incoming class they will be out in May sometime.

Did you receive the merit aid information at the same time as the acceptance decision? I’m waiting on RD notification, but I just wonder if I will know the financial piece before we make a college visit trip to Ohio (from Colorado) over Spring Break (3/27-3/30). I am waiting on the decision before making hotel reservations. Either we are just visiting Miami U. or Miami & CWRU. We won’t drive 8 hours (4 hrs up & back) to Cleveland if CWRU is not affordable for us.

@dogladyJ My DS was accepted EA and the FA info was in the acceptance decision. It included the university grant. But if your student applied for one of the scholarships with a separate application, I think an interview is required. My DS applied but hasn’t heard about the interview so he probably didn’t make the cut.

@ambkeegan - most likely it’s about yield. Same with my niece last year - summa cum laude in HS, student council etc etc…was deferred too. It worked out as she got outstanding merit scholarships from other great schools like Purdue, Rennsalaer, UIUC but ended up at Trinity U in Texas which is a better fit for her (with almost full ride).
