Case Western CS vs Northeastern CS

Title says it all. Appreciate any feedback

Frist, both are solid options and will allow you to do well and be in a great position post-graduation.

The biggest difference is that Northeastern offers better introductory teaching, something that can make or break starting CS majors and vastly improve those with prior experience.

If research is important to you, Northeastern would offer more there as well. See: http://csrankings.org/ and check out generally or and special areas of interest and compare.

I’m a Northeastern CS student so take that with a grain of salt or two, but I absolutely love the program here. Co-op isn’t necessary for CS but certainly in terms of jobs, and the big names like Apple, Amazon, Intuit, Google, etc hire co-ops every semester. Boston is also an amazing city and while Cleveland is no slouch, Boston is one of my favorites in the US.

I’d also generally consider fit beyond CS academics and opportunities. You should be happy living wherever you choose.
