Case Western Diversity Overnight

So is it a bad sign for future admission when a nonwhite kid doesn’t get accepted to CWRU’s diversity overnight? Upside: The kid’s grades, scores, extracurriculars, etc., are well within Case’s profile and she’s a STEM student. Downside: She’s definitely not first gen to college, and we have visited campus, so they may think someone else needs the experience more than she does to be sold on the school. Thoughts?

I would think that an overnight is to help kids who may not have the resources to get to campus…if she has already visited campus then she would not need that.

Does anyone think going to the Diveristy Overnight would enhance chances of acceptance of student’s grades and test scores are well within the accepted student profile?

I assume they have Diversity Overnights because they are trying to admit some diverse students. Also Case considers the “Level of applicant’s interest” in admissions and this would be a way to show interest.

Anyone waiting for October results?
