My S and I went onto his application status page today and it has him set up as a student and the application information is gone. Has this happened to anyone else?
Just checked my S’s—hasn’t changed. Maybe a good sign for you?
Maybe, I don’t know. My husband thinks its a mistake haha.
Mine is still on the checklist. Now i’m a little worried.
Now I am worried too
with me, 3 worried
We could see someone was setting up files while we were logged in, so it was created Friday evening. Maybe they’re starting to do this and they haven’t done yours yet. I would wait and see- I’m not sure this means anything.
Checklist still there.
Does anyone know if its a email or letter that goes out for EA and what date to they go out?
timeline is on or about December 17
https://case.edu/admission/apply/dates-deadlines
I don’t see where it says on or about Dec. 17th.
Also, my D’s checklist is still there, too. @cwp2018 , is your son’s checklist still not there? like it was a permanent change?
^^see link on post #9
Yes, his application checklist is completely gone. It’s now a dashboard that says welcome to Canvas and it has tabs for grades, coursework, etc.
i believe that youre on https://blackboard.case.edu/, not go.case.edu/apply/status
the second link is where the checklist is in and the first is just a portal
ahh- mystery solved! Everyone can relax - I didn’t mean to worry you all. That was strange because I went into the application status tracker and it sent me to that other site. 8-|
what is the blackboard? and why is my D’s name there when I click the link?
I have no idea why they set this up already- I could see them working on it over the weekend.
@immadreamer , what is the blackboard? does every applicant have access to it within their name on it?
i think it’s just a spot where people can just access what classes they want to sign up, but i think every applicant has access i believe
@Winky1
Blackboard is an virtual learning system that allows students to upload and view assignments and content. I use it in high school now but I’m not sure why they’ve set it up for students who have not yet been admitted/enrolled.
