rejected. honestly in shock.
seriously!! Housing is a factor to be wait listed?
Dear ???,
Thank you for your application to Case Western Reserve University. The university received a record number of undergraduate applications this year, many from academically promising students like yourself. Because Case Western Reserve is a residential university that guarantees housing for all first-year students, we have been forced to be conservative in the number of acceptances we initially offer. The admission committee hopes you will accept a place on our wait list for the Class of 2022.
got accepted with 23k a year and also accepted into baker-nord humanities program. didn’t actually receive an email yet but it’s in my portal
@AverageTeen2000 That’s definitely the case. It doesn’t help that we have never visited either and that they are need aware. She is completely stoked over the MIT acceptance and I am in love with the aid they are providing. Good luck in your decison making process!
@caleegalee damn im sorry. what were your stats?
So so sorry @caleegalee .
Got waitlisted.
I saw Case Western as a safety even though I would want to go there. I did read on their CDS that “level of interest” is considered as “important”, so in hindsight I wish I did that.
Accepted and super super surprised
is the scholarship the same thing as the cwru grant?
Accepted, with 23k scholarship, and “P.S. I hope to see you perform at the Maltz Performing Arts Center in the near future.” at the bottom… DID ANYONE ELSE GET THIS??? I’m so surpriseddddd.
Question, was everyone able to get into their portal? I haven’t gotten an email even though i got a notification email the other day that decisions were being released tonight, and when I tried to log into my portal the screen said there was no account for my ID.
What were your stats? And did you get a scholarship?
@PPofEngrDr That was also said in my waitlist letter, but I said I would be dorming. I think it’s a generic statement. Just them trying to lift the sad mood
I’m confused. Where do I log in/what do I click once in?
just for reference:
-ACCEPTED!! with $23k a year to Baker-Nord Center Scholars in the Humanities Program
-31 ACT, 4.2W
- @AverageTeen2000 last year there 28 BNC scholars, the year before there were 10, so i would say it’s pretty selective
congrats to those accepted!!
no matter where you all go, you will kick B U T T
@musicmeister22 congratulations!!!
Accepted after being deferred EA with $31,000 scholarship! 35 ACT, 1560 SAT, National Merit Finalist, 4.0 uw/4.2 w gpa. Was deferred because my financial aid applications were not complete.
@Winky1 so sorry your DD got waitlisted. I thought the mistake mail was a good sign. I think your DD has a lot of excellent choices.
My DD also got waitlisted ( I expected case rejected her LOL)
@imnotokay thanks
I was wait listed, I’m OK with it. I applied with encouragement from my counselor. She said a kid with my stats from Utah would get in with great Merritt. Based on that I was a little surprised. However, lots of other opportunities. Good Luck to everyone.
