Case Western Reserve University for business

Never been to Case Western and wondering what the reputation is there and what it’s like there? Also, would you recommend it for accounting (Business major) or a big 10 school?

Accounting program is very strong at Case and you can do a BS/MS degree with funding for the masters degree. They are placing at top accounting firms in Chicago.
Cleveland is a small scale city, with fun neighborhoods and lots of music and art as well as a vibrant downtown and good public transportation. The Cleveland Institute of Music is a music conservatory and those students go to Case
for general studies, so its on campus, their music practice rooms. Cleveland State and John Carroll University are close by too.
I like the economics program at Case, my son minored in economics in Case if you have more questions about that.
Weatherhead School of Business at Case is well respected.

Its not U of Chicago for top reputation, MBA, but then U of Chicago will not really focus on accounting, so much, its more of a traditional liberal arts college.

I don’t know how it compares to Michigan or UIUC accounting, I think the bigger schools get a better rank, but
may not be as personal for accounting majors.
