I recently emailed my counselor to appeal for more scholarship money three days ago, and she has yet to respond. I understand that it may take her some time to sort out whether there is funding and to decide whether to increase my award, but I did not even receive a confirmation or acknowledgement that she received my appeal email. Should i call the office to speak to her or just continue to wait? I am running out of time as i have to make a decision by May 1st and I’m scared that she didn’t see my email

Better call. Went on a visit this weekend and it doesn’t seem that Case changes financial aid much at all. We requested a second look and they basically said we could try but they know what they do is spot on. Sorry you probably didn’t want to hear that. We may not be attending without an increase either. @jihihihi
Have you had recently changed circumstances, made an error on your CSS or failed to explain your financial situation properly? Those are about the only reasons they will reconsider your FA. Most universities have a similar policy. Sadly, not feel you can afford the EFC doesn’t cut any ice at most universities…
EFC was definitely less than what she was offered. But we are appealing the award and hoping for the best.
