@coralbrook , I admit to loosing my way in this one. Can you explain the front door plus a set of French doors right next to it?
The tall French doors on left are the dining room. The doors let them open up on nice evenings and extend the living / entertaining area. There is a bit of a view towards Mission Bay on that front deck. It’s big enough for a small seating arrangement
Great idea! Sort of like a front porch, but with more space and no through traffic.
Looks great, as usual!
Beautiful, as usual!
DONE (well, except they want us to build a fence on left side next to house) and she still doesn’t have any lights for master bedroom or closet. And she hasn’t decided what she wants for master closet. We cannot call for final inspection until these are installed. I have no idea why the City cares if there is anything installed in closet. They require, at minimum, a pole installed in every closet. Honestly, just stupid. Not sure why it’s any of their business how a closet is used. Maybe it has something to do with fire safety, someone might just pile clothes in there??
!!! Seven Months
Taking some final photos tomorrow because I had to clean myself out the back door today.
It’s amazing how everything always looks so much better after all the windows are sparkling clean.
We had to draw straws on who had to clean out the utterly gross refrigerator in garage that the boys have been using. And our work microwave that gets dragged to every project was a hazardous waste disaster. These guys are so gross!! It even had sawdust in there stuck to the goo.
It took us two days, two trips to dump and four trips to my garage to clear everything off the job site.
Now off to have a glass of wine and get off my feet
Congrats!
@coralbrook - when we refi this house, the appraiser did not count one of our bedrooms as a bedroom. Why? Because there was nothing in the closet - and that can’t be a closet because there was not a single hook in it! Without a closet, the room can’t be a bedroom. So the appraiser told my husband to find something… a 3M sticky hook and a tee hung on it were apparently sufficient.
Congrats!
Congratulations - beautiful as always!!
Only ONE glass of wine? This has been a long road, and you sure do deserve a celebration. Enjoy!
Here’s some more pics. Tomorrow I’m going to load some more pics and do the final accounting. I’ll share how much each aspect cost
Looks fabulous!!
