It's strange how the advertisements on CC are for kiddies. Who still plays browser-based civ or rpg games? Why would people already in college look at ads for some unheard of university? Like "Florida Tech online... NO GMAT REQUIRED"

Maybe it's sign of our intelligence that Harvard, Oxford, or Yale doesn't post their ads here.... =(

i don’t know that harvard, oxford, or yale are big on the internet advertising

anyway, ad-block is where it’s at.

Definitely. Ad-Block on Firefox eliminates all of that garbage…

LOL. What ads? Ad-Block rules!

I see one with a lady w/ wrinkles abd something about the UMN.

Get Ad-Block! Do you use Firefox?

naw, I use windows vista but I also have firefox.

They don’t bother me enough to download firefox, block them, and start using firefox. As long as they don’t talk or move excessively, it’s a nonissue.

Yeah, they don’t really bother me either, and I’m sure they help pay for a good chunk (if not all) of the hosting costs. You would be surprised at how many people those ads probably pull in.

What everyone else said, download the Ad-Block Firefox add-on, it’s super useful.
