Is there any way that these two things can be changed:
<li>The “one post every 60 seconds” restriction is extremely frustrating, especially for someone who uses browser tabs and reads/types quickly. I’m guessing this was put in place to prevent spambots–but it’s incredibly annoying constantly disrupts my CC experience.</li>
<li>There seems to be a lack of active moderators in certain subforums (e.g., the “Summer programs” forum). It would be nice to see at least some sort of process for requesting that a thread be stickied or something, or how to become a moderator (staff approval, I’m assuming–but then all the people that are approved don’t seem to post much nowadays).</li>
I really enjoy providing advice on CC, but it’s just so frustrating when I have to wait ten minutes to reply to just ten peoples’ questions, and when highly useful threads get lost when they could have been stickied and thus eliminating the need for others to post duplicate threads (why do people never use the “search” function?).
