Is it possible to go to a Community College after 10th grade get good grades and then transfere to an Ivy or a top school such as Northwestern. I know friends who have done this an got in to UCs but is possible with other high ranked private colleges. Who I have to take the SATs?

If I feel I have NO chance at a college like Northwestern or Cornell by attending the local community college, I see no point in attending one for me since my high grades and stats are pretty good. Is there a point????????

It's of course possible for qualified applicants to get into ivy leagues after going to community colleges. Unfortuantely, with ivy leagues, your HS grades almost always matter in the application process, regardless of what year you are transferring and the mountain of HS work you have done. Ivy leagues are selective; they only admit the best.

I do not understand going to community college after 10th grade on your post; did you graduate high school? You will need a HS transcript or G.E.D.; this is always required. You absolutely have to take the SAT and rank quite highly on the upper scale; addtionally, if possible take SAT IIs (though, I am not sure of your situation, or age).

No in fact I have not done any of those- but those I talk have not either the got out of high school with the exit exam ( I will take in 5 months)
