<p>I am applying to transfer for fall 2013 as a pharmaceutical major and I've been extremely worried I won't get into my major. By the end of fall 2012 I would have a GPA of 3.5 which would meet UCSD's tag but I am not sure what my chances are of getting into my major. I've done a couple ECs such as asian club, badminton club, catering for teachers at my high school and volunteered at the library. I would have finished all my IGETC and prerequisites except for 2 organic chemistry courses.</p>
<p>My second choice would be for UC Irvine. Can anyone chance me or give me tips on how to improve my transfer rate besides raising my GPA. The reason I cannot rise it is because I have 2 semesters left that will count towards transferring and I plan on getting 4.00 in both of them to bring my GPA up. I have been averaging a 3.1~3.2 gpa every semester and plan on finishing strong by getting 4.00 my last two semester, if that is any help at all.</p>
