CC transfer, is it ok not to show SAT and AP scores

My scores were not that impressive. I am applying as a transfer student from CC.

Is it ok if i don't show my sat and AP scores?

I depends on your age (how long you've been out of high school). That's how most schools decide whether they want your SAT/ACT's

age 19. graduated in 2004. Applying for fall 2006.

UC say they don't base transfer admission on that stuff, but i just wanna know if i leave it out of my application.

It typically comes down to how many credits you've finished. If you're applying for fall 2006, I think you'll have finished two years by then? If that's the case, you'll probably be exempt from submitting them to most colleges. You just need to check each college's admissions website for transfer requirements to find out. A few that require them of all transfers, regardless of standing, include Trinity, Wesleyan, and Wellesley. I want to say Brandeis does, as well.

Also, keep in mind that it is really common for transfer students, especially those coming in from community colleges, to retake the SATs before applying to transfer. I'm already in a community college, but I'll be taking the SATs and some subject tests this upcoming school year so I can be ready to apply for fall 2007.

Begining, i am only applying to UC.

Proly gona apply to colleges.

UCLA
UCSD
UCSB

Only applying to schools that i will attend. :)
Not like HS where i apply to like 8 schools and half of them were safeties.

Some HS transcript have the SAT scores so you might want to look into that first if you decide not to submit them. Also you can retake them as somebody already mentioned.

If you're planning on going to a UC, then don't worry about the SAT scores.

I aaplied as an upper division transfer but still submitted my hs transcript and AP scores because I needed to fulfill requirements like the foreign language requirement and for extra units but no you dont need them if you take equivalent courses at a cc but if you did them at hs then youd save yourself some time and money.

my HS transcripts don't have SAT.

I am using my HS classes to fufill the language reqs.

Not using any AP scores (only passed two) to meet any sort of reqs.

Just concerned that if i show them, it might hurt me if it's like deciding factor b/c i am borderline.

I think... if your current gpa is 3.5 or higher and your SAT score is under 1200 then don't show. If your GPA is below 3.5 and your SAT score is above 1100 then show. You can call the school and ask them that same question... I did that.
