I’m currently a junior in the suburbs of Chicago and I’ve been having trouble concerning what I should do for college.
I have a strong interest in pursuing Cybersecurity for my future career, and I’ve recently went on a college visit to DePaul U last month and fell in love with the campus and their cyber sec program.
However, I don’t have many ECs, besides being apart of a coding club outside of school, holding a conservationist title for the women’s club at my school starting this year, and contributing and editing my school’s literary magazine. My GPA weighted is also a 4.7, as I have only taken honors and AP courses, besides creative writing.
I’ve been considering attending community college then transferring, but I also want to experience campus life and other student activities.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!
Why are you considering community college? To save money?
Apply to some four year schools and see what the final costs turn out to be, then decide.
