CC transfer to Cornell CS?

Hello,
I will be attending my local community college next fall. I chose the CC over a four year school to save money. My high school GPA ended up being 94ish and my SAT score was 1690.
My question to you all is whether it is possible for me to become a transfer student to Cornell for Computer Science after receiving my AA at my community college. If so, what might increase my chances of acceptance? I plan to really focus on college from this point forward in my life and even quit my job to do so this fall. Any advice or insight is greatly appreciated.

im transferring to HE from CC. there’s no magic formula but here are a few tips:

-become a member of Phi Theta Kappa and see if you can obtain a leadership position. be involved

-choose 1 or 2 other ECs that you are passionate about AND relate to your academic/career goals in someway. devote a consistent amount of time.

-since you’re trans as a jr, you’re hs will be weighted far less than your college record. try to maintain 4.0 and take challenging courses. it’s tough for us CC transfers b/c the transfer applicant pool is already so competitive

-research the college/major you are interested in. see if you can visit cornell and meet with ppl in the college/major.

-you will need a few letters of rec. seek out a few professors that you want to build relationships with as well as maybe your CC’s honor adviser.

feel free to PM me if you want

Good Luck!
