I'm now a current Shoreline cc student but not a WA-citizen.
My current GPA score is 3.85, gonna to finish my required courses and graduate next summer.
I will apply for Foster next fall.
I did volunteer as ESL tutor and works as a math tutor in school.(not very much and I don't join any club)
How will UW calculate or demand the volunteer hours?
I really don't have any activities related to manage business.
What kind of the extracurricular activities are recommend?

I have question about Persuasion Task in WSA.
How you guys practice, examine, and improve it? That questions is very business-related.
How can I get the previous questions for practice?

BTW, can any people can share any their experience of applying for Foster or any example of persuasion task and position task you practiced?
Thanks a lot!

UW doesn’t care about your volunteer hours, it cares about your non-school activities. Being a tutor is a good activity. Just make sure to put it down on your personal statement and mention some lessons/skills you’ve learned because of it.
As for the WSA, seek help at the Writing Center, they are pretty good about it.
Thanks for your guys response. The information is helpful.
I’m an international student, so I need AA degree with CARD courses.
However, I heard ppl say although I didnt finish my required courses (UW CARD courses) , I still can apply for if I just tell them what I will finish before enrolling in. (this fall) Is that right?
(I already have finished my business required courses now)
