Hey guys,

i'm a California community college (ccc) student, and i'm interested in grad school; i was wondering if any of the UCs(or even UMich or UTAustin) want our ccc grades or do they just look at the univ grades?

Thanks for your advice :)

They usually ask transcripts from all of the schools you have attended as an undergraduate, so CCC would be included in that.

Good luck.

All of your transcripts are required… it can be a real pain if you’ve attended multiple community colleges, as I did.

That said, your community college experience should not be a hinderance to your admissions, so don’t fret about that… I went through the same route (CC -> UC) and got into top rated programs.

Well if you do well enough to get in to a UC, then they shouldn’t hamper your grad school acceptances. As long as you do well in your last 2 years it probably wouldn’t be a big deal.
