Does anyone know what the core curriculum for Georgetown is? I've posted the same question on other forums about other schools that have a religious affiliation. Do all of those require theology or other courses that are normally not part of the CC at colleges w/ no religious affiliation?

2 philosophy, 2 theology, 2 literature, 2 math/science, foreign language competency, 2 history, 2 social science....i think that's all

How are the theology classes at any college? Are they focused on anything in particular? The reason i'm asking is that i'm really not into religion and would rather stay away from classes that deal w/ it but i know that most colleges only require 2 theology/religion so i might...might...be able to tough it out.......is it that bad?

I thought I would hate theology here...turned out to be 2 of my most interesting classes. If you dont want to take something where you need to like study the bible, then you don't have to. They offer a good range of theology classes.

Those core are just for the college, the university-wide core is 2 theo and 2 phil, eachs chool has it's own core. You can check that on teh Gtown website. The theos ar enot a burden at all, most are not even closely related to the bible or God, some are simply philosophy classes about religions.
