CCC: Now $36 per unit

It wouldnt surprise me. Im so glad this is my last semester there.

@HeatherBecca: No, I took Mills. The guy is a genius! But he only teaches 1B in the Winter. He is there mostly for the lower classes and he emphasizes preparing for transferring to University. He was a transfer from RCC to UCLA so he kinda knows what’s really going on. I’ve never learned more in any English class before his. He also knows that there are all sorts of professors at community college who don’t teach you crap so I guess that’s what makes him so good. It’s also pretty nice not having to pay for a textbook :D

I can’t complain. You still cannot find $36/unit anywhere else across the country. Plus, people try and get out of it with BOGW’s anyway. I don’t see this being horrible, but I hope – hope!! – it preserves the prestige of a UC and the accessibility of a Cal State. That’s what I’m worried about, because the cost is probably worth it.

I’m glad my community college is rich. (Thanks to its way of funding itself; ask me later.)

@lbc123 how long have you been at mesa? and where do you wanna transfer?

Hey I’m at Mesa, too, and was planning to take summer classes before transferring. Are you sure? It says on the online course schedule that the summer schedule will be available 4/15.

all you really have to pay for while going to a CC is tution + very very old hard to find book for classes. As you can almost get a majority of your book you need for free through the internet.
