Hahaha, title says it all.

Well the reason I ask this is because I've only recently heard about PCC and for quite a while I've heard people talk about "OMG SMC!!" so I'm kinda wondering if PCC is umm, well I heard that PCC is better than SMC. That and it's closer from where I live. Comments please! Oh and does anyone know about any metro train services that link Los Angeles to Pasadena? I can't drive.

There's the goldline that takes you directly to pasadena "old town" where you could take the 180 or 181 to pcc. YOu can also take the 81 which goes through most of l.a. right down figueroa and then take the 181 or 256 either is good but the 256 is faster. Ive been to both SMC and PCC now I'm at ucla and can honestly say that although it is known to transfer more students to the UC's SMC is not the better school just based on the parking issue, the difficulty of finding open classes that transfer, and the sheer amount of people that go there. PCC is really laid back and is more of a cal state than a community college. I ended up transferring from PCC after spending a year at SMC when I switched the only regret I had was not switching to PCC sooner. I also live closer to PCC than SMC but listened to people who kept telling me that SMC was a sure way into a UC (Not true) I got more done in half the time at PCC than I ever did at SMC and the commute was a lot easier. Try a semester at both and see which you like best.

What is your major now at UCLA?

And any more comments from anyone else?

since u don't drive. Go to the one thats closer to u
