I'm very curious to find out if it is possible to be accepted to CCM and not receive an acceptance email? Has this been the case for everyone who has been accepted?

I auditioned regionally, on February 15th. I had a lesson with the professor of the studio which I applied for in late February(which went very well!), and he told me that he had not reviewed the tapes. That being said, I'm positive that my audition was not heard prior to February 25th.

I have not heard back yet.

Should I be concerned?
I'm wondering if there could still be a chance for my acceptance, being that my audition was viewed later.

Has anyone received admission without recieving an email?!

Constanza, UC has a web site that lists all admission decisions. Call up UC to learn how to access it or to find out about your admission decision.

I also frequently check my status, but it hasn't been updated since January. I asked about this, and they replied saying that music majors' statuses would not be updated.

For me I saw it online first... they updated my status page. One thing you have to do is use your UC ID number and NOT your social security number in the SSN slot when you log in. When I logged in with my SSN, it said they hadn't decided, but when I logged in with the UCID it had my accepted status up.

After seeing that, I got a phone call a few days later, and the letter maybe about a week after.

I actually called the admissions office, and was informed that a decision hasn't been made for me yet and that I should have a definite answer around the first of the month.

So now.... I'm guessing that no news is good news?!??

Congrats to all the acceptees. UC is very hard to get into. However, I was just reading that most of this year's Musical Theater seniors have signed contracts to perform this summer.
