Just a quick question.

Are the acceptances always via email and the letter always rejection/waitlist?

Thanks!

I think so. That is what everyone else has been saying. Good Luck

Those accepted get an email FOR SURE, then a letter a few weeks later (as in my case).

Those denied never get an email saying they are denied, they only get letters.

Hope that answers your question!

Thank you PCassedy! And congratulations on your acceptance! :)

I was just wondering if anyone knows when we will most likely be hearing anymore information. I auditioned February 2nd in new York and haven't heard anything.

Do you know when they are going to send out acceptances/rejections to the people who didnt get them the first time round? Thanks for your help and again, CONGRATULATIONS!! :)

epo9 - From what I have learned CCM is pretty consistent in sending out emails with acceptances to a select few within days of a given audition date.

They then send out the rejection form letters to those they determine are not a the right fit for their program. It appears that they keep a "may be" file of people that they turn to after they see more auditions, and those people will not get an email or letter right away.

In a sense, not hearing anything is good, as it means one is still being considered. That said, it does not necessarily mean an acceptance either, as it still is possible they will see someone similar they like better, but it explains why some people hear later than others.

:)

MTgirlsmom- Thank you so much for your response! It cleared up all the confusion I had.

Fingers crossed :)
