Im a junior in high school and I'm pretty set on going to the College Conservatory of Music at UC in Cincinnati for musical theatre, I live in Cincinnati also. This college seems like the perfect fit for me, but the audition process has me anxious. So im looking for a little guidance from people who have done college auditions.
So, a little bit about me...
Ive performed in 14 high school productions so far in my freshman/sophomore years, in this time i have also been a student director as well as a member of the costume crew and makeup crew.
I'm a member of my schools vocal ensemble and show choir, and ive been taking voice lessons every week since the beginning of freshman year.
I also have training in stage combat, and this year dance class will be a part of my daily class schedule. I'm a member of the international thespian society and last year one of the productions i was a lead in performed a full show at the Ohio EdTA conference.

Also, my brother auditioned for the Drama program at CCM and didnt make it in, one of his professors said its because one person on the panel didnt think he was CCM material. How do they judge you in audtions.

I know the Musical Theatre program only accepts about 5% of the people that audition.

What else can i do to better my resume? I have time since I wont be auditioning for this program until my senior year, I'm also looking at other colleges.

What kind of things do auditors look for when your auditioning for their program?

At CCM, do they only have you sing, dance, and perform a monologue, or is there an interview process as well?

Are there any audition coaches in cincinnati, because i cant find any, or any good coaches or programs that operate over the internet?

THANK YOU!
