CCS Physics and CCS Maths

Okay, quick question: I've heard about UCSB's physics program being stellar. CCS more so. I know that CCS physics and math departments are very strong, and they both offer an undergraduate academic experience of a very high quality. What I want to know is, how high is this quality? As most undergraduate program rankings consider UCSB as a whole; there are no rankings comparing the CCS program in particular with other universities.

Double major physics and math. Would CCS be better than Berkeley? Private institutions like Chicago, Cornell? Ivy league?

I know CCS is all about what you make of it, so COULD it be better than these places, that is, going through the standard and very rigorous programs that these other places are known to have?
