<p>I've got some questions for Bruins (or others) familiar with the Cdigix system. Would you say it's worth it? Is there an extensive selection of movies/music?
Or, if there's anything else you'd reccomend over it, what is it?</p>

<p>If you don't have an Ipod (which is really a trend), then CDigix is for you. I like it, it has everything I searched for. Good quality.</p>
<p>Cdigix is free, so you might as well sign up for it. I use it sometimes when I get the urge to listen to a song that I can't find through "other" means, either because it's new or because I haven't heard it in a long time. The quality is good but it's slow, since everything is streaming and you can't download any of the music to "keep".</p>
<p>Oh really? I would have expected them to be downloadable, although DRM'ed so that it would only play on that computer.</p>
<p>you can stream everything, and download most but not all. they come as DRM'ed WMA files if you download them...they only allow playback on your computer. no burning to CD or anything. i've gotten a LOT of songs from there...</p>

<p>I tried IE and firefox, all that happens is after I sign in to the BOL it asks me to enter my email to verify again... then it cycles. I emailed them and they weren't helpful at all.</p>

<p>or, its possible that you have to be connected on the ucla network in order for it to work.......i wouldnt put it past them to have some random verification software that nixes people trying to get in from outside.</p>
