CE vs. EE vs. Civil engineer vs. packaging engineer, PLZ HELP!!!!

im undecided, idk which one i would be best at!

i love technology, so EE and CE would be very good, but after reading some tech articles, it sounds a little too complex for me to really enjoy...

civil engineering would be great, i love the idea of building structure and etc.. BUT idk if i fit in with guys in my school who wanna be architects, they are all really gay and have construction experience, unlike me, who is a skinny, clean cut kid? (i really need help on this case here)

and then theres packaging engineering, which i think is SOOO interesting, the only problem is that (1. just surfing the web, there arent many jobs opening in my desired locations, and 2. the pay isnt too well, is wat ive found)

PLZ HELP! thanks!

“They are all really gay and have construction experience”…?

Apparently there is a marked correlation between being homosexual (or happy??), having construction experience, wanting to be an architect, and being a civil engineer…

no i was just saying, their gay, i thought people knew what that meant. yes homos. but thats aside from them having construction experience, which i dont.

the experience is good, but i dont have it, soooo…?

No I was just saying, that’s offensive, and I thought people knew that it was offensive.

Wow, where do I even start?

 1. Engineering is complex, regardless of specialty.

 1. Civil engineers do not build structures; they design structures, which is complex (see #1).

 1. Who cares if you fit in with them? Even if you don’t get along with them, you don’t have to spend all your time with them if you don’t want to.

 1. You’re potentially going to school with civil engineers, not architects. Architecture is in a completely different college from engineering.

 1. I bet most of them aren’t.

 1. Construction experience alone doesn’t make a good engineer (or architect). And everybody has to start somewhere; you aren’t born with experience.

 1. Your appearance doesn’t matter as long as you don’t make your colleagues uncomfortable. I work in construction management and I’m pretty skinny.

ok thank you, finally a good response

^ you’re clearly going to have trouble fitting in with any group except the dbags

Ken, you are a more patient soul than I…
