Hi everyone, I am a current senior and have already submitted my application. I have a 3.68 GPA, rank in the top 28% of my class and have a 24 on my act but I am retaking it as of next Saturday. My dad is an alumni and donates to CEHD. My older brother attends the U as well. I have visited campus twice, once for a tour and once for the CEHD freshman preview. I am on student council, was president of my choir last year, participate in show choir and math league. I am also taking a fairly rigorous set of classes this year including college physics, college econ, college composition, and college algebra. I intern at a local bank as well, and volunteer quite a bit. I have talked to my admissions councilors about general questions but really just want to know if I will get in!
@vikingsfangirl98 here are the stats by college for UMN:

Your ACT is on the lower end of the mid-50% range so you are smart to be retaking just to see if you can bump it up a tad, especially given that your class rank is just out of that mid-50 range. UMN will use the test with the highest composite score in your admissions decision.
Your course rigor sounds fine - are those AP/IB classes you’ve referenced, or PSEO?
EC’s are good - you should follow the advice of your high school counselor as well, especially if you are MN resident. All the local GC’s should be very much in-the-know regarding the admissions criteria to the UMN colleges.
Good luck to you!
