For students getting into the medical field, is it beneficial to recieve a certification from the American Heart Association in CPR, First Aid, Basic Life Support, and AED?!
Nope. It won’t help you a bit to get accepted into med school.
It may help if you want to get a job such as a patient care technician to get clinical experience before applying to medical school. Some of the hospitals in our area list having Basic Life Support certification as a requirement for patient care tech applicants.
