<p>i know you must have a 4 year degree before getting CFA license but i heard people taking it during their junior year
am i misunderstanding what they wrote or is this normal for students seeking a competitive edge</p>
<p>You need a 4 yr. degree plus 4 years of RELATED working experience before you are vested to be a chartered CFA.</p>
<p>I don’t see the point of taking the test while in college. There are tons of candidates who have successfully passed some or all levels of CFA encountering difficulties getting jobs in investment management despite many years of working experience.</p>
