<p>Im currently a senior. Im finalizing my college list, and my parents really want me to apply to Duke. At first i thought i would just apply since they were bugging me so much about it, but after doing research for an x amount of weeks, im starting to fall in love with it. :)</p>

<p>Except this love is similar to a love that a nobody lonely girl has with a popular jock. The chances are not very likely that i will succeed. But i just wanted the opinion of CC. Should i just apply and allow myself to dream big or should i just stop being so ridiculous. </p>

<p>My resume: </p>

<p>GPA uw: 3.5
GPA w: 4.0</p>

<p>ACT: 30</p>

<p>extracurriculars: </p>

<p>200+ hours of community service
leadership role in 2 clubs PLUS founder of one
track- 2 years
i dont have many extracurricular, but the ones i do (besides track) are all related to medicine some how, which im VERY passionate and determined about. Also, i love each and every one of my ECs and can honestly say i did not just do them for the sake of college and i would have done them even if they didn't matter for college. </p>

<p>Duke would be a high reach I’m sorry to say. Your GPA is a bit low, and while your ECs aren’t numerous or standout-ish as some of Duke’s other applicants. If you’re really feeling Duke though apply anyway! But it doesn’t seem too good though.</p>
