i forgot to mention my main concern -- which is that i don't have focused EC's / a strong strong passion.

i'm interested in a lot of different things, and i guess that shows. i like international relations, psychology, science, etc. and unfortunately, they don't really relate.

your interests don't have to relate to one another...that's a stupid rumor cc kids started. anyways, I think you still have WAYYY to many clubs...otherwise, great chances at everyschool except for stanford/yale depending on your uw gpa
good luck!

A lot will depend on your rank at the top schools. Being from an uncompetitive high school in an overrepresented state, you'll want to be at the very top of your class.

I've read a lot of these CC chance things, and it seems to me you're the first person I've read who actually has a patented invention under consideration by a company for production. If that actually got picked up and marketed by the company I would think that would be a major plus - more than these typical things I read here all the time. Of course, that's assuming you are near to the top and have good test scores (whcih you do).

err. well i've gotten only one B+ in honors freshman english. likely that i'll get another B+ this year in AP. but that's it. idk. what does that turn out to in an unweighted gpa?

hmom, what do you mean about rank in top schools? my school doesn't rank at all, so how will they compare me to everyone else? i'm positive i'm at the very top of my class, but colleges won't know that. >.< which i guess is bad

bumppppp. any other opinions? (:
