You should be admitted to Northwestern. It's interesting to note my reaction to an applicant with a black belt in a martial art differs depending upon whether the applicant is male or female; a black belt for a male represents aggression, while for a female it represents defense.

Lol, this is exactly what you say, another boring kid with high scores. Ha, not really. You're probably really interesting, but how would I know?

Anyways...you're more than qualified for Northwestern. I'd say you're in in a heartbeat.

On another note...I think that a female with a black belt represents empowerment and strength more than defense. Hot.

On yet another note...I bet you were mad about your 770 on your Math weren't you? A tiny blemish. Ha!

I am not saying this as a direct response to you, but if you come into applications thinking you are "just another boring kid" you will most likely look like exactly that to the school. Change your attutude to "a talented individual with special skills" and your chances skyrocket. luck to you!

Hey phpfan, where do you live? ;) I like how you think.

And yes, I was a little disappointed with the 770. I always did better on practice tests. However, on practice tests I usually did worse on CR, so I'm not (really) complaining :)

Kristina, you DO NOT need to retake the SATs to try to get 30 more points in math. The probability of getting a lower score is much higher than getting the 800.
