Never be afraid to try something new.

Remember:
Amateurs built the Ark

Professionals built the Titanic

and in case you never saw this one..! ....

Can you imagine working for a company that has a little more than 500 employees and has the following statistics:

Can you guess which organization this is?

Give up yet?

It's the 435 members of the United States Congress. The same group of idiots that crank out hundreds of new laws each year designed to keep the rest of us in line.

pass this on if u think its interesting...

wow...thanks for posting that (although it should be classified as spam). It was very eye-opening, more than anything I read tonight =) lol.

Actually, I picked Churchill.

You can't just take the bad traits of some politicians and compare it to the good traits of others. I'm willing to bet that most politicians have bad sides. If we made a fair comparison and compared the bad side of hitler to the bad sides of churchill and roosevelt, we would come up with an entirely different conclusion.

I understand, but this is just forcing you to look at things from a different side. We know Hitler was bad and FDR and Churchill were very good. This is just to make you think. That was the entire purpose of this post. We know everyone has a good and a bad side, some more so than others. We know. But its just interesting to see it in this way.

But its logically incorrect. You cannot look selectively at things and make decisions. It is unreasonable not to consider the whole.

Again, I understand that. This was just an interesting thing to read. I was bored, and I found it fascinating. I think you guys are reading too much into it. The point was just to read it and then, well, if you are like me, marvel at the answers. Thats it. I am not saying that this is how we should actually vote for government leaders (although, by the looks of this thing, we arent doing a great job at that the way everything is now) in this manner, its just fun and strange to read. Plus, I learned several things that I did not know before. So just read and enjoy!

Ive read this before, its really interesting. I think most people agree that although Hitler's intentions were very very wrong/bad, he was one of the most influential/powerful/most of all effective leaders. He has strong traits, just bad ideals.

I find this very interesting: also a chain letter

Interesting Demographics of the World
Food for thought:

If we could shrink the earth's population to a village
of precisely 100 people, with all the existing human
ratios remaining the same, here is what you would
have:

There would be:
57 Asians
21 Europeans
14 from the Western Hemisphere
8 Africans
52 would be female
48 would be male
70 would be non-white
30 would be white
70 would be non-Christian
30 would be Christian
89 would be heterosexual
11 would be homosexual
6 people would possess 59% of the entire world's
wealth and all 6 would be from the United States
80 would be in substandard housing
70 would be unable to read
50 would suffer from malnutrition
1 would be near death
1 (yes, only 1) would have a college education
1 would own a computer

perspective, the need for acceptance, understanding,
and education becomes glaringly apparent."

All I can say is that no-one is perfect; EVERYONE has a problem...

exactly. this is a way of looking at that. a way that isnt normally pointed out to us.
and the 100 people thing is one of my favorite thing EVER. its on a poster in my room and a postcard in my locker.

We look at things from one side ALL the time...logic has nothing to do with it...it is first reactions..think about it, do you make every decision with all the facts...do yo research everything...mos people don't and we are given bits and pieces of imformation about things and must make decisions quickly with the info we have...

That is how things work- people hire people with just a few facts, people vote, people reject people, people pick schools, people date, people

Great book out their called Blink- about first reactions and gut feelings

Precisely. You judged Hitler before by the bad he did. And you judged Churchill and FDR before by the good they did. Therefore, declaring that judging them from the opposite point of view is bad, is fairly hypocritical.

cool...........
