Question for Hilary Clinton

Do any of you guys have any pressing questions you would want to ask Hilary Clinton?

I'm going to interview her for about 5 minutes next week, and although I've got a long list of things I want to ask, I was just wondering if you wonderful intellectuals wanted to input anything. I don't have much time, so I'm trying to narrow it down.

Thanks. (No mean questions...)

Why don't you give a black man a chance?

Why do you think your national health care will work in the US, after it has failed in Europe?

Who are you leaning towards selecting as a running mate, should you be nominated?

why are you a socialist?

why did you defend the black panthers as a law student at Harvard?

and

do you really think your health care plan will work, considering you were in charge of your husband's initiative, which failed abysmally?

Why did you support the war?

do you use botox?

what does she have to say to all those who say she's a polarizing figure?

sure she can probably win the democratic nomination but the people who vote in those primaries are so far off from the mainstream public. this is the main reason i am afraid to vote for her. a significant amount of students at my school believe that if she wins the super-partisan politics of the 90s will return and nothing will get done-it will be the whole "us-against-them" mentality. (i think that this is a pretty important issue for young people because the main reason why young people tune out when it comes to politics is that there seems to be too much arguing and little resolution to tangible problems.)

I am happy to see so many young people be serious about government.

I have essentially the same question as Newjack. Many Independents say they are willing to vote for Barack, but not Hilary, and many Republicans have crossed party lines in order to vote for him. If a moderate like McCain is the other side's nominee, Republicans will not find it difficult to cross back over to McCain and she will lose a lot of independent votes as well, which is like 40 percent of the voting populace.

How does she propose to win the election when a vast majority of independents have gone democratic for Barack, and Barack only? How will a polarizing figure like her be able to defeat a perceived "middle-of-the-road" guy like John McCain?

What does she see for the long-term future of America? I mean fifty years to a century.

Why she insists on being so unphotogenic.

Do you think Barack Obama would make a good president?

I think these are all great questions, especially the polarizing one.

OP, could you tell us her answers to these qs?

"Do you think Barack Obama would make a good president?"

/thread

Alrighty, two things:
-Holy ****, it’s not next week, it’s tomorrow!!!
-I think she’s answered (attempted to answer…then ranted) a lot of these questions. She’s talked about her running mate, her health care plan, and Obama as president. But they’re still good questions.
As for the botox and unphotogenic questions…why do I care about her looks?
Anyway, I have to get back to researching, and maybe doing some hw too if I have time. Thanks guys!
I'll post whatever I get from her tomorrow or Friday.

What do you think individuals must do to combat climate change?

Europe loves it socialized medicine, as does Canada (with which I have direct experience).

What is your position on network nuetrality?

proletariat, i don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, but when people have to pay for private care to actually get surgery, it's probably not the best system...yeah, end rant, don't want to fight on a college board :P
